We Are All The Same

What I did here was used sign language and took pictures of my hand and changed the colors of each hand to make it look like different skin tones.

  1. I see that you did put them on your blog. I like this one very much. It would be better if you started with a higher-rez image. Check out the silhouetting tip I sent to the class.

  2. That is a very nice idea. Technically, the hands selection is not very clean. IT is obvious becuase it is on a black backgroud.
    Keep up the good Work!

  3. Hello Alina,

Your image with the hands and the sign language was really good. One thing before I go into a little more detail is that I think you should have refined the edges of the hand a little to make it seem smoother and blend in a little more. That way you could have gotten the whole image with the hand and not as many sharp edges. Over all I liked the message that you were trying to portray… or at least I hope I got the message. lol. No matter what color a person is or race, religion, status, gender and/or anything else I might be missing, we are all the same. Everywhere around the world we might be “unique” in our own ways, but nonetheless, we are still created the same way. As far as I know, there isn’t a man that can really fly on his own or save an airplane from crashing to the floor. Unless we are talking about a pilot or an astronaut, then I think that’s a little different. (^__^)
